I have always known I wanted to help people somehow. Before college, a long-term goal of mine had been to work with women and/or girls in ministry, but since I didn’t know how to get there, I began college with a similar major. God set my dream job in front of me before I even finished my degree last May! I have been working here now for a year and a half and love being able to watch God change, heal, and bring freedom to individuals each day. Since working here, my personal prayer life, spiritual disciplines, and love for the Lord have grown immensely. I see God healing me and changing me each day along with the students.

When one door closes, another is opened. On March 5, 1993 I walked through the doors of what is now ND Teen Challenge. It was then I began my road to recovery from addiction and a renewal of my spiritual life in Christ. Fourteen years later, I re-entered those doors. This time, however, I came to give back, offering my knowledge and experience of non-profit accounting. Teen Challenge is a blessing to all who walk through the doors. Working here helps me to remember where I have been and hopefully show others where they can be one day. Faith has been defined as believing without seeing, but here at Teen Challenge, we get to see the miracles of transformation God is working in so many broken lives.
