North Dakota Teen Challenge is the largest faith-based
residential recovery program in the state for people battling drug and alcohol
addiction. Adults, ages 18 and over, from every ethnic, socio-economic and
religious background are welcomed with open arms as they embark on their new
life. Many residents qualify for a reduced or no-fee admittance into the 12-month
program.
The North Dakota Teen Challenge is the only recovery program in the state that
allows women to bring their children. Childcare and schooling arrangements are
provided.
Teen Challenge was started in New York City in 1958 by Reverend David Wilkerson
and now has over 600 centers worldwide.
Endorsements from Officials:
"Too many young people have already lost their lives, and too many others have
suffered serious injury for us to ignore the problems of juvenile alcohol and
drug abuse. Programs such as Teen Challenge work to change people's lives by
changing their hearts. I commend you for your work with young men (and women)
who are addicted to drugs and alcohol."
